Scenes from the classic hockey movie 'Slapshot' were filmed at the AUD; notable cast members include Paul Newman and the Hansen Brothers.The ceiling of the AUD is clearly visible in some shots, as is the kitchen. People still recognize the AUD today as the iconic location from 'Slapshot.'
